Hospice Care Program
Our hospice has ten beds, two of which are an intensive care unit for patients in very poor condition or for those with TB who need to be separated from other patients. Because of the new HIV medicines and a good diet, the health of many HIV patients improves significantly over a period of many months. During this time, the patients eat a great deal of food necessary for the continued improvement of their health. Those in the ICU are normally in poor condition, require oxygen and cannot move about, so adult pampers are a necessity for them.
Rice monthly 4 bags @$25 x 12 months and @250 food per month x 12 months = $3,200
Medicines for Hospice @ $100 x 12 months = $1,200
Pampers (adult) for ICU Hospice Care $60 x 12 months = $720
Target Total: $4,920
