Water is where Creation begins. In Genesis, the Spirit of God moves over the waters, and at Easter, water becomes the sign that God is making all things new again as we celebrate baptisms and renew our baptismal promises. Yet today, 1 in 4 people around the world still lack access to safe, clean water they cannot live without. 
 
Divine Word Missionaries are working to change this reality—but we cannot do it without you. In Nizampet, India, for example, 25 orphaned children at the Arnold Bala Vikasa Ashram Home once depended on sporadic rainfall, leaving them vulnerable to unsanitary conditions and poor hygiene. Thanks to generous friends like you, a borehole well, a submersible pump and a rooftop water tank now provide a reliable, clean water supply—restoring dignity, health and hope.
